Charimanm of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi left Aden Wednesday for participation in the Munich Security Conference.
This year, the conference will address various issues related to the developments associated with the terrorist attacks by the Houthi militias on maritime shipping and their implications on international peace and security.
President al-Alimi is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at the global conference in a panel discussion on Yemen and the situation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the required role of the international community in supporting the Yemeni government and enhancing its sovereignty over its coasts and regional waters.
President al-Alimi will also review the latest developments in Yemen's situations, including the international efforts to revive the peace process and end the humanitarian suffering over the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia's triggered war.
President al-Alimi will meet with a number of leaders and international figures participating in the prestigious gathering on the sidelines of the conference to exchange perspectives on common challenges and explore ways to coordinate positions and visions at various levels.
