Marib Dep. Governor calls on OCHA to increase interventions to meet IDPs needs in the governorate
[21/03/2023 04:55]

MARIB-SABA
Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah called on the Office of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen to double down efforts and intensify the humanitarian interventions to meet the increasingly growing needs of the IDPs in the governorate.

In his discussions today, Tuesday, here in Marib with the Deputy of the OCHA in Yemen Diego Zorellia, Meftah highlighted the big gap between the increasingly rising needs of the IDPs and the dwindled humanitarian interventions.

He also noted that Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on oil seaports have further exacerbated the humanitarian suffering of the IDPs and the hosting community.
