Bin Buraik discusses coordination, partnership with Dutch ambassador

Minister of Finance Salem bin Buraik discussed Tuesday with Dutch Ambassador to Yemen Peter-Derrek Hof continuing coordination and partnership between the two parties in different fields and means of enhancing and improving them.

Bin Buraik touched upon latest economic developments in Yemen and efforts exerted by the government to improve conditions in different levels and challenges facing them.

He pointed out to the economic impacts resulted by Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on ports and civil and economic establishments, calling upon the international community to take serious and deterring positions towards the militia to stop its aggressions on economic and vital establishments.

Minister of finance confirmed integration of international efforts to support the Yemeni government to face economic challenges, especially under the exceptional conditions the country is going through.

He renewed government's welcome to any international efforts for improving economy and speeding up development process, pointing out to great admiration to anything support the government and Yemeni people.

He praised the Dutch support to Yemen in different domains, emphasizing necessity of continuous coordination and partnership between the two countries.

For his part, the Dutch Diplomat confirmed continuous support of his country to Yemen in different fields and support to all efforts that could help in improving economic and developmental levels and enhancing stability.
