MARIB-SABA
A number of Civil Society Organizations working in field of people of special need here have called international organizations to take care of people of special need whose number increases immensely over the war and to meet their needs.
Concluding an activity on celebrating the day of Disabled Persons marking the third of December every year, the organizations called for approving policies and programs to protect, take care, qualify and integrate people of special need in the society.
The organizations also called for enabling them to practice their educational, health, cultural, social and political rights through giving them priority in education and employment.
The organizations called for relocating the fund of disabled people from Sana'a to Aden and opening a branch for it in Marib due to big and increasing number of them.
A number of speeches have been delivered in the activity denouncing international silence towards Houthi terrorist militia's planting lands with landmines, which target civilians and increase numbers of disabled persons.
The speeches also tackled suffering of people of special need over continuing the war by the terrorist militia and wide spread of landmines, which are planted sporadically by the militia.
