Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh has called for establishing a hospital in Yemen that offers traditional Chinese medicine services alongside modern medical services.

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Wednesday with Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Yemen Nahed Hassan the organization's interventions in health fields.
The meeting reviewed interventions in field of solar energy, environment and managing medical wastes through building burners in health establishments.
Minister Buhaibeh confirmed significance of solar energy project in reducing fuel consumption and ensuring continuity of electricity in vital health sections like Intensive Care Units and incubators.
He pointed out also to importance of UNDP's contributions in constructing burners to get rid of medical wastes.
