Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik received Monday UN Resident Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen David Gressley discussing with him humanitarian situation and Houthi militia's obstacles before humanitarian organizations, and looting assistances to finance their warfronts.
The two parties also discussed measures for banning looting aid and protecting beneficiaries against Houthi militia's blackmail, a matter warned by the government earlier and disclosed by UN experts' team.
Prime Minister also confirmed government's partnership with the UN on responding to urgent priorities and including sustainable development programs helping provision of livelihoods and creating work opportunities.
He renewed government's firm position regarding quick solution to Safir Oil Tanker Issue and not allowing to Houthis to use it as a paper for political blackmail.
For his part, the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen confirmed partnership with the government for responding to humanitarian needs, pointing out that preparations are underway for holding donor conference to implement the humanitarian response 2022.
He praised facilitations made by the government and coordination with governmental concerned bodies.
