Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Yemen's Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, met here today the heads of the Dutch humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen. During the meeting, they discussed the increasing humanitarian needs in Yemen as a result of the futile war waged by the Houthi militia against the Yemeni people, and the overall challenges facing humanitarian activities in Yemen.
The Minister praised the efforts made by humanitarian organizations in Yemen and their vital contribution to alleviating the catastrophe caused by the Houthi militia's 2014 coup and war against the country's legitimate government.
.He said the militia are preventing humanitarian aid from reaching its intended beneficiaries in the country, saying these crimes are only part of too many crimes and grave violations committed by the terrorist militia against the Yemeni people.
Bin Mubarak reiterated the government's keenness and commitment to facilitate the mission of humanitarian organizations and help them overcome any difficulties that might impede the arrival and flow of aid, explaining that the government is currently working on a one-stop shop system help save time and efforts in handling humanitarian projects.
