Lahj governor, Intl. organizations sign humanitarian projects

Governor of Lahj Ahmad Turki signed Sunday with representatives of international organizations in Yemen treaties of formal interventions for implementing humanitarian and developmental projects across the province.

Turki confirmed keenness of the local authority on easing activities of the international organizations for carrying out humanitarian projects.

The cooperation protocol includes implementing projects to people in remote areas in different districts of the province.

The projects will be in fields of water, health, education, agriculture, economic, fishery and animal wealth and other projects associated with relief and poverty.
