Japan provides Yemen with $12.9 mlm package of humanitarian aids

The Government of Japan announced a new package of humanitarian aids for Yemen worth $12.9 million in a response to a request by the Yemeni Government to help meeting the pressing needs and mitigating the humanitarian crisis in the country.
According to a statement the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) familiar with the package includes different humanitarian projects to be carried out in cooperation with international organizations with the aim of improving services of water and sanitation in Aden, the situation of the IDPs in Marib and training program for youth and women.
It is important to mention that the Japanese Government has pledged a grant worth $18 million in food aids.
