Ba-aum appreciates helpful role of Gulf Humanitarian and Relief Aids Coordination Office

Minister of Public Health and Population, member of Supreme Relief Committee, Dr Nasser Ba-aum attended the 24th meeting of the Gulf Humanitarian and Relief Aids Coordination Office, held Thursday in Saudi capital Riyadh.

Dr Ba-aum detailed the meeting about humanitarian situation in the province of Hodeidah and other regions where combat operations are underway to push Houthi putschist militia out of them. He also briefed the gathering on the overall humanitarian situations all over the Yemeni provinces.

The Minister expressed thanks for the management and members of the Gulf Humanitarian and Relief Aids Coordination Office, deeply appreciating the significant role it has been playing in coordinating humanitarian efforts and aids of the GCC's member states.

" The Office's efforts have been very helpful, significantly contributed toward improving the humanitarian situation throughout all Yemeni provinces", said Ba-aum.

The meeting discussed several topics relating to the humanitarian situations in our country and the programs to be carried out in the forthcoming period. The discussions also touched upon what have been done over the past and what are planned to be offered in the future.
