Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Fath informs French organizations on Yemen's humanitarian needs

Minister of Local Administration and the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee AbdulraqeebFath has informed representatives of French relief and humanitarian organizations key humanitarian aid Yemenis need and local plans for including aid and assistances.

Fath, along with Yemen's Ambassador to France Riyadh Yaseen, discussed activities of the relief organizations in Yemen, mainly in the liberated areas and facilitating measures for granting entering visas to employees of international organizations operating in France to enter Yemen for providing relief assistances.

He was briefed by the representatives on challenges facing them whether on getting entering visas or those facing them in the field, mainly in Houthi-held areas where aid are subjected to looting and seizure, thanking humanitarian organizations which provides medical services.

Minister Fath stressed on abiding by formal measures and coordination with concerned bodies, confirming that all challenges will be discussed with responsible bodies for having mechanism for coordination and following up.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Yaseen confirmed readiness of the embassy for cooperation with relief organizations want to work in Yemen.
