ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani has warned of alarming news about compulsory recruiting by Iran-backed Houthi militia. Reports confirmed that Houthi militia have started to forcefully recruit young people in the regions under the militia control and engage them in the different front-lines battles to fight an absurd war.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency(Saba) Al-Iryani noted that field reports stated that the Houthi militias have embarked on a compulsory recruitment process in several areas, compelling the population to choice between two bad options: either to go fighting in front-lines battles or to be imprisoned. Some reports even stated that the militia have abducted teenagers from schools and Orphans House in Sana'a and engaged them battles.

The minister of Information said:" Such practices are in violations of the international laws which ensures human rights in war-times and peace. These illegal actions infringe all conventional norms and humanitarian principles".

Al-Irayani added:"Legal government has exclusively got the right to recruit young people into armed forces under the constitution and laws in effects". "Everybody should be careful, never join to the Houthi militia as such move is outlawed", warned the minister.

The minister of Information called on the international community and Human Rights organizations to condemn these illegal practices which constitute serious violations of human rights amount to war-crimes that perpetrators should be held accountable for.
