The Yemeni Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Jalal Faqira met Monday with the Chairman of the Arab and International Affairs and Expatriates Committee in the Jordanian Senate, Dr. Hani Mulki, to discuss enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Ambassador Faqira reviewed the U.S. administration's decision to designate the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization and the implications of this decision.
For his part, the Chairman of the Arab and International Affairs and Expatriates Committee in Jordan reaffirmed Jordan's support for Yemen, its leadership and its people.
He also confirmed support to all efforts aimed at building peace in Yemen.
