The Republic of Yemen participated Monday in the meeting of the technical committee concerned with studying the unified basic systems for specialized Arab organizations affiliated with the Arab League.

The meeting will last for three days, with participation from Deputy Representative of Yemen to the Arab League Ambassador Dr. Ali Mousa.

It will address proposals to unify the salary and wage scale in specialized Arab organizations, prepare and adopt regulations within the unified financial and accounting system, and establish an electronic payment mechanism using bank cards.

Additionally, it will discuss financial regulations for outstanding additional work rewards in specialized Arab organizations, including education allowances as part of the basic allowances in the unified basic systems, examining the proposal to raise the retirement age to 65 years for employees of specialized organizations, and amending the names of some organizations and the basic system for experts.

Dr. Ali Mousa emphasized the importance of the topics under discussion and supported the proposals put forward by several unions and specialized Arab organizations aimed at enhancing and developing joint Arab work.
