Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has said Houthi terrorist militia's seizure of a plane for Yemeni Airline Company (A330) amid continuous freeze of the company USD 80 million for seven months confirms Houthi militia's criminal approach as a gang does not respect international laws and accords.

In a statement to Saba on Monday, al-Eryani said Houthi militia's piracy and terrorist acts against the Yemeni Airline Company, the sole transporter of Yemeni nationals from across Yemen coincides with signature of the militia with a transport treaty signed by the militia with Iranian Mahan Air Company for making 14 flights a week to enhance Iranian influence in the region.

Al-Eryani held Houthi militia full responsibility on this dangerous escalation, which is included within Houthi militia's plots for creating crises and utilizing international, regional and local community and using Yemeni people as hostages and depriving Yemeni people from facilitations by the government to operate Sana'a International Airport.

He called upon International Community, the UN and its Envoy to abandon silence and denounce these moves, which complicate conditions and their price are paid by Yemeni citizens.
