Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik healed the UN's relief and humanitarian efforts, describing that as vitally helpful and useful for millions of the Yemeni peoples.
He made his comments during his discussions today, Tuesday, in Aden with the UN Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen David Gressly.
Ma'een's conversations with Gressly covered several topics relating to the humanitarian situations in Yemen, the UN's response programs and the ongoing coordination between the UN's agencies and the Yemeni government about the UN's response programs in Yemen and the international efforts to reduce the financial gab in order to meet the increasingly growing humanitarian needs amid current tough circumstances.
The talks also touched upon the technical teams' assessment of the outcomes of the implementation of the first phase of the UN's Emergency Plan to rescues Safer Tanker and the proposed plans to carry out the second phase.
