Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak held discussions today, Sunday, in Aden with the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen David Gressly over the humanitarian situation and the humanitarian actions led by the UN and international organizations in Yemen.
BinMubarak underlined the need for greater efforts to mobilize the required resources to deal with the two key issues of internally displacement and removing the landmines planted randomly by the terrorist Houthi militiamen.
He also highlighted the need to support the state's institutions at the local and national levels to improve basic services and alleviate the humanitarian crisis.
The conversations touched upon the successful implementation of the UN's Plan to rescue Safer Tanker which resulted in safely dislodging the oil crude to the alternative tanker.
The Minister highly appreciated the regional and international cooperation and support to carry out the project that managed to avert an unspeakable environmental disaster.
