Yemen participated in the sixth and final session of the International Committee devoted to developing a comprehensive international agreement to combat the use of information and communication technology for criminal purposes (cybercrimes), with a delegation headed by our country's permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi, and the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Fayez Ghallab.
The session, held in person and virtually, with the participation of member states of the United Nations and a number of international organizations and academics, will discuss the draft text of the agreement, which includes the preamble, general provisions, criminalization, jurisdiction, procedural measures, law enforcement, international cooperation, preventive measures, technical assistance, information exchange, implementation mechanism and final provisions. .
