Gaza Death Toll Rises to 55,297 Amid Ongoing Israeli Aggression

The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,297, with 128,426 injured, the Ministry of Health in afflicted Palestinian enclave said. The majority of the victims are women and children.

In the past 48 hours, 90 civilians have been killed and 605 others injured, bringing the total number of fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire agreement was breached on March 18 to 5,014 deaths and 16,385 injuries.

The Ministry of Health also reported that a total of 274 people waiting for aid have been killed, and over 2,532 injured, after reaching hospitals from designated aid distribution areas.
