The gross domestic product (GDP) in the Eurozone and the European Union (EU) registered a growth of 0.3 percent during the first quarter of the current year compared to the previous quarter.
The EU's statistics office (Eurostat) clarified in a report today, Thursday, that this increase comes after a growth of 0.2 percent in the Eurozone and 0.4 percent in the EU during the last quarter of 2024.
The report indicated that the GDP in the Eurozone recorded an annual growth of 1.2 percent in the first quarter of 2025, while the annual growth in the EU reached 1.4 percent, the same rates recorded during the last quarter of 2024.
