CAIRO - SABA
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has reaffirmed the Arab Republic of Egypt's firm rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians from their territories.

The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy stated in a communiqué that this came during a phone call that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

According to the statement, the Egyptian president and the Spanish prime minister discussed regional conditions, particularly the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip, as well as the situations in Syria and Lebanon, where they emphasized the importance of maintaining the stability of both countries and the unity and territorial integrity of their lands.

The call also underscored the depth of Egyptian-Spanish relations and praised the notable developments in those relations, as well as the mutual desire of both countries to enhance cooperation in various fields and intensify consultations and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.

President el-Sisi and the Spanish prime minister expressed their firm rejection of the military operations carried out by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip and the necessity for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the ground invasion in the strip and the imperative of delivering humanitarian aid.

Both parties agreed on the importance of implementing the two-state solution as the only guarantee for achieving security and stability for the peoples of the Middle East.

"President el-Sisi reviewed Egypt's efforts to stop the fire, emphasizing Egypt's firm rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians from their territories," said the Official Spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency.

The Spanish prime minister, for his part, expressed his country's support for the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza Strip, he said, pointing out his country's complete alignment with the Egyptian position that rejects the displacement of Palestinians or the ending the Palestinian issue.
