Eurozone annual inflation falls to 2.3 percent

Annual inflation in the euro zone fell to 2.3 percent in February, lower than the previous estimate of 2.5 percent.

The European Statistics Office (Eurostat) said in a report today, Wednesday. that the annual inflation rate in the European Union reached 2.7 percent in February 2025, down from 2.8 percent in January.

The report pointed out that the lowest annual inflation rates were recorded in France, Ireland and Finland, while the highest annual rates were recorded in Hungary, Romania and Estonia.

Annual inflation decreased in 14 member countries, remained stable in 6 countries and increased in 7 countries compared to January 2025.
