At the Exporter of the Year annual award ceremony, Economy and Industry Minister Petko Nikolov said that export is among the main drivers of any economy. Nikolov pointed out that the country's economy is showing stability, despite the numerous international crises, the Economy Ministry reported.

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that NSI data show that in the third quarter of 2024 the Bulgarian economy grew by 2.2%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

The Exporter of the Year awards were organized for the 12th consecutive year by the website exporter.bg. The Ministry of Economy and Industry was the patron of the event, where export-oriented Bulgarian small and medium-sized companies were awarded.

Minister Nikolov presented Exporter of the Year award to Gopet Trans, a leading freight forwarding company with offices and representative offices in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Spain, Greece and Turkey.
