The UN Security Council held a meeting upon the request of Algeria and Slovenia to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza, as the Israeli genocidal war enters its second year.

The Palestinian News Agency said the Council listen to a statement from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, the UNRWA.
