Authorities in South Korea announced the evacuation of about 1,500 people due to heavy overnight rains that triggered landslides and flooding in the country's southern regions.
The Central Disaster and Safety Headquarters said: "The number of people evacuated due to heavy rains reached 1,501 people in the southern regions, and 682 of them have not yet returned to their homes, and no casualties have been reported yet."
