A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit the province of Veraguas in southern Panama today, with no reports of human casualties or losses as a result of the shake.
The US Geological Survey said in a statement that the earthquake occurred 364 kilometers from the Arenas area in the province, and at a depth of 10 kilometers. No warnings possible tsunami waves were issued.
