Brent crude prices suffered slight losses during early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as fears of lower demand due to a slowing Chinese economy overshadowed the impact of the closure of oil production facilities in Libya.
Brent crude futures fell 37 cents or 0.48 percent to $77.15 a barrel by 0156 GMT.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude, which had no settlement on Monday due to the U.S. Labor Day holiday, rose 28 cents from Friday's close at $73.55.
