The death toll from Hurricane Beryl, which slammed into the southern state of Texas, has risen to six.
The American authorities have said the hurricane, classified as Category 1, caused a power outage for more than two million people, while Montgomery County Chief of Staff Mark Keough confirmed that three people were killed due to the strong winds that uprooted trees, after three others died as a result.
