The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is awarded for merits by Economic and Social Council (ESC) in Bulgarian in recognition of its significant role in promoting the organized civil society in Bulgaria.
BTA reported that a festive plenary session was held on Friday at the Council of Ministers on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the ESC.
During the event Lawyer and ESC member Ognian Gerdzhikov presented the honorary award to BTA Deputy Director General Evgenia Drumeva.
