Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Monday Charge D'Affaires of Chinese Embassy to Yemen Chaw Ching discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries and means of expanding them in political, economic, commercial, educational and cultural fields.
The meeting tackled lates developments in Yemen and regional and international efforts to revive the political process and needed Chinese pressures to enhance peace chances under Houthi terrorist militia's stubbornness.
President al-Alimi confirmed commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to inclusive and just peace on the bases of the internationally agreed upon references led by Security Council's Resolution No. 2216.
For his part, the Chinese diplomat confirmed his country's support to the Presidential Leadership Council and the Government and working on providing different forms of support to alleviate humanitarian suffering on Yemeni people.
He also confirmed his country's support to UN-led efforts for reaching an inclusive political solution to Yemen's crisis.
