Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi praised the efforts of the local authority and the security services in Taiz Governorate, which led to apprehending the perpetrators of the treacherous terrorist attack that claimed the life of the World Food Program coordinator in the governorate, Moayad Hamidi.
This came in a phone call to the Governor of Taiz Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, who briefed the Leadership Council chairman on the developments of the case, and the legal measures taken to investigate the perpetrators and bring them to a fair trial.
The head of the Presidential Leadership Council urged the local authority and security services to quickly complete the investigations and refer the suspects of the terrorist attack to the Public Prosecution, to proceed with the procedures for their trial according to the penal and judicial laws in force.
Al-Alimi called on citizens and all national forces to actively cooperate with the security authorities to fulfill their responsibilities to combat crime, enhance public tranquility, and support the state's efforts to face all challenges.
