His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, arrived today, Tuesday, in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabia on a short state-visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Emirati Minister of Justice Abdullah Ana'aimi and Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Azua'abi received President al-Alimi upon his arrival at the airport.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council is set to hold discussions with the Emirati leadership over the developments in Yemen, particularly about the economic reforms and the needed regional and international support for these reforms.
President al-Alimi talks with the Emirati leadership will also cover the ongoing good offices by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the international community to renew the truce, establish peace and security in Yemen in line with the nationally, regionally and internationally agreed on terms of peace references to restore the State's institutions, put an end of the Iranian regime backed Houthi militias' coup.
