Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi sent Friday congratulation cable to President of Irland Michael D. Higgins on the National Day of the Republic of Irland.

President al-Alimi expressed best wishes on his own behalf and on behalf of members of the Presidential Leadership Council to President Higgins, hoping him continuous health and happiness and progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Irland and the government.

He also expressed appreciation for the positions of Irland for alleviating humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people and realizing their aspirations in regaining state institutions and peace, stability and development.
