His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alim, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, stressed on the importance role of judiciary in delivering justice and establishing the rule of law.
He said" Judiciary reforms need to be continued to reinvigorate the judiciary's role in controlling corruption, protecting rights and freedoms"
His remark came as he met today, Sunday, with the Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council Judge Mohossen Talib and the Chief of Supreme Court Judge Ali al-Awash.
The session intended to discuss the topics relating to judicial authority's role, independence, challenges faced by and the required efforts and measures to enforce the rule of law.
The Chairman of Supreme Judiciary Council detailed President al-Alimi on the achievements made by the judicial authority over the recent period, citing the difficulties need to be overcome to further enhance the ongoing reforms in judiciary.
