His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Tuesday, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Salim al-Ghafli whose tenure expired.
The President highly praised the Emirati active role within the Arab Coalition in support of legality in Yemen, deeply appreciating the Emirati contribution to humanitarian actions and development in Yemen.
President al-Alimi also applauded the significant role of the Ambassador al-Ghafli in boosting Yemeni-Emirati bilateral relation and defending the Yemeni peoples' fair cause against Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup.
The conversations touched upon the developments about the Yemeni situation, UN-led efforts to establish peace, stability and mitigate the humanitarian suffering amid Houthi militias' intransigence toward these endeavors.
