His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council held session here today, Saturday, with the representatives of the Yemeni expats community in New York.
The session intended to provide the Yemeni expatriates with first-hand information about the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena including the economic and administrative reforms the government has been leading in the temporary capital Aden.
President Al-Alimi also detailed the Yemeni community leaders in New York on the developments about the peace track and the prospects to renew the UN-brokered humanitarian truce amid Houthi militias' violations and its failure to fulfill its obligation under the truce agreement.
The representatives of the community reported to the President about their activities, concerns and suggestions to improve the institutional actions in the homeland and their initiatives and campaigns to defend the Yemeni fair cause in the USA.
