NEW YORK - SABA
President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi received Thursday here Director of the United Nations Development Program Achim Steiner discussing with him UN humanitarian and developmental interventions.

The two parties also discussed coordinating efforts with international community to mobilize more financing to relief programs and depositing them in the Central Bank of Yemen to help boost price of the national currency.

The UN official reviewed fields of UNDP's interventions, including the plan of rescuing Safir Tanker, rehabilitating Yemeni ports and supporting efforts of sustainable development in different sector.
