His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimim, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met today, Wednesday, here with the President of the EU Council Charles Michel on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly discussions.
They conferred over the latest developments about the situations in Yemen including the UN-led efforts to make peace, economic reforms and the EU's possible interventions to support the PLC's and government's efforts to manage the economic hardships and humanitarian challenges.
The conversations also touched upon the required international pressures to press for peace by pressuring the Houthi militias to deal constructively with the underway efforts to make peace in Yemen, fulfill its obligations under the humanitarian truce agreement.
