Presidential Council discusses reports on UN Truce, situations in Shabwah

The Presidential Leadership Council continued Monday its discussions of local developments and ongoing UN Truce, including Houthi militias preaches in different warfronts.

The meeting was Presided over by President Rashad al-Alimi and attended by Members of the Council Aidrus al-Zabidi, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami and Othman Mjualli and through visual communications Tariq Saleh and Fraj al-Bahsani. Member Abdullah al-Alimi was absent.

The council listened to reports on the truce and Houthi militia's continuous preaches, which left victims from civilians and military affiliates. The reports counted hundreds of preaches by Iran-backed Houthi militia, resulted in killing and injuring a number of people since April till July 23.

The council renewed its call to the United Nations and the International Community to shoulder their responsibilities towards these breaches and malicious crimes committed by the militia.

The council reviewed security and administrative situations in Shabwa Province and directed the leadership of local authority there to take necessary measures to tighten security and stability in the province.

The Presidential Council discussed latest developments of ongoing reforms in security apparatus and requirements of rehabilitating them and improving its capabilities in cooperation with similar apparatus in brotherly countries.
