Hadi receives credentials of EU and Cuba diplomats

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received the credentials of the head of the European Union mission to Yemen and the Cuban Ambassador to Yemen.

After receiving the credentials, Hadi met separately with the two ambassadors accredited to our country welcoming them and directing the government to facilitate their mission as they fulfill their duties in order to activate and strengthen relations of friendship and joint cooperation.

The President referred to the latest developments in Yemen in light of the current situation and peace efforts and its possible prospects based on the resolutions of international comunity, foremost of which is Resolution 2216.

He praised the positions of the European Union countries and the friendly Republic of Cuba in support of Yemen and its government in various international forums, stressing the reinforcement of that. cooperation for their mutual benefit with Yemen.

His Excellency the President said, "We stress the importance of peace and our adherence to its path and options. We have made huge concessions and sacrifices for the sake of the Yemeni people and for ending bloodshed and the establishment of a just and sustainable peace, not a transitional peace that does not meet the ambitions or fit the specifics of the country."
