Training program on conflict resolution starts in Marib

A training program on networking, building partnerships, conflict resolution and advocacy began in Marib today, implemented by the Generations of Marib Association.

Part of a project to enhance the role of local councils and civil society organizations in social cohesion in the governorate, it is implemented in cooperation with the Bridges Program and is scheduled to last seven days with the participation of 27 male and female trainees who represent the local authorities in the districts (Marib's capital city, Al-Wadi, and Al-Juba), as well as representatives of civil society organizations.

At the opening of the program, Deputy Governor Ali Muhammad Al-Mawadi stressed the importance of establishing such development programs that seek to strengthen community partnership in the desired local development programs, community service, development of services, and the preparation of young men and women to play an active role in the development process and qualify them to lead the community.
