Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

The President of the Republic- Commander-in-Chief- Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi deeply appreciated the great sacrifices have been extended by the national military personnel, highly praising the heroic battles they have been fighting against Iran-backed putschist Houthi militia's militants in the different flashpoints.
" The huge sacrifices made by the national military valiant troops will never be forgotten, their sacrifices are greatly appreciated by the Yemeni peoples who are eagerly looking forward to the modern federal state based on justice and good governance", said Hadi.
His statement came during phone calls he conducted today with the Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohammed al-Maqdashi and the General Chief of Staffs (Lt Gen) Saghir bin Aziz.
Al-Maqdashi and bin Aziz reported to the President on the latest developments about the combat operations against Houthi rebels.
