President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi told a number of foreign ambassadors that Houthi militants and their backer, Iran, “do not seek peace” or care about it.
In separate meetings with the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Hungary, South Africa and Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive their credentials, Hadi pointed to the radical militia’s escalation with terror attacks on civilian airports in Yemen and Saudi Arabia and escalation against the Yemeni city of Marib.
Hadi haled the international community’s support to Yemen and its government and praised the assistance of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to Yemen in humanitarian and developmental fields.
