President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi stressed that Aden New Electricity Project should be accomplished as soon as possible to save the state's treasury great deal of resources.

His remarks came as he held a phone conversation Monday evening with Aden Governor Ahmed Salim Rabi'ea.

Aden New Electricity Station's total capacity is (262) MGW can be expanded up to 500 MGW.

The President directed the government to pay all due payments for power supplies firms operate in Aden to secure electricity services in the interim capital Aden.

Hadi urged doubling down efforts to improve basic services, maintain security and stability.

The governor reported to the President about local authority's efforts to urbanize Aden and make it better.
