Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

President Hadi receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Thursday the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Timothy Lenderking.
A range of issues of common interests were discussed during the meeting.
President Hadi welcomed MrLenderking, praising Yemeni-American strategic cooperation and partnership to counter terrorism and the Iranian interferences in the region, to secure maritime navigation and eliminate Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup in accordance with the three terms of reference.
Hadi voiced appreciation for the US supportive stances in support of Yemen, its constitutional leadership and unity.
For his part the US Deputy Assistant of Secretary of State has reiterated the USA support for Yemen, its unity and legitimate government represented by President Hadi.
Lenderking appreciated President Hadi's efforts to make peace in Yemen including Riyadh Agreement between the government and Transitional Council as a significant move to enhance peace, security and stability.
He also affirmed the continuation of cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries to serve the common interests.
Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr Abdullah al-Alimi and US Ambassador to Yemen Christopher Henzel were in attendance.
