Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi sent a cable of thanks and gratitude to the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and United Arab Emirates (UAE) for their unflinching support and noble stances toward the Yemeni people, making sacrifices in blood and treasures to help Yemen.
President Hadi deeply appreciated the KSA and UAE initiative to manage the gap in food supplies with total cost $500 million. This additional assistance is set to help as many as 10-12 million people in need.
The President highly praised great deal of support provided by Arab Coalition member states leading by KSA and UAE to the relief and humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
It is important to note that the KSA and UAE have generously contributed to the Humanitarian Response Plan of 2018 with above $1billion and 250 million.
