President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi has praised Yemeni-US unique relations based on cooperation and facing joint challenges represented in terrorism and Iran's interferences via Houthis and Hezbollah.
In his meeting with US Ambassador to Yemen Mathew Tueller on Wednesday, President Hadi pointed to challenges and repercussions of Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup against the state and their plots against the interests of the people via currency speculation by the funds looted from the Central Bank of Yemen in Sana'a before relocating it to Aden.
He also pointed to cooperation of Saudi Arabia and Yemeni capitals, which contributed in overcoming repercussions of currency collapse, hoping for a role to be played by the United States in this filed and continuous support to Yemen and its legality.
For his part, the US diplomat expressed pleasures for meeting with the President and pleasure for his successful visit to the United States and resulting fruitful meetings.
He praised President Hadi's speech before the United Nations General Assembly on the real situation in Yemen, confirming support of the US to Yemen and its legality for facing different threats.
