President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Tuesday the Swedish Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Enicka Souder on Tuesday.

The President highly praised the Sweden active role through the EU in supporting the Yemeni legitimate government and people.

President also deeply appreciated the Swedish government decision to appoint a special Swedish envy to Yemen.

During the meeting President Hadi explained the developments related to situations in Yemen and Yemeni peoples suffering as a result of Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup.

President Hadi said:" Houthi militia and its backers don't believe in coexistence, they are only good at violence and weapon language, this is clearly evidenced throughout different dialogues episodes with these militia, we have been very keen on making peace, we made significant concessions in order to stop bloodshed and establish peace, but in vain, the militia has rejected to come to peace talks on the basis of international resolutions in relevant".

The Swedish minister affirmed her country's stance in supporting Yemen and its legitimate leadership, wishing Yemen peace and stability.

Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi was in precedence.
