President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadihas stressed on the strength and depth of the bilateral relations between our country and Italy.
In a meeting with the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincenzo Amendola in Riyadh on Monday, Hadi said: "Italy's attitudes of support to Yemen and its constitutionally legitimate (government) are appreciated by all our Yemeni people."
Hadi briefed the Italian official on all the developments in our country since the Arab Spring and the transformational National Dialogue which Houthis disrupted by unleashing a war in implementation of the Iranian agenda.
The Italian official said his country would continue to support humanitarian efforts. Last year Italy's humanitarian support to Yemen, he said, reached about $10 million.
He also expressed his country's support to the new UN envoy to Yemen as to all the previous envoys with the hope that peace can be reached in Yemen.
