President receives US Defense official for Middle East Affairs

President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on Wednesday Deputy Assistant of US Department of Defense for Middle East Affairs Mike Milory and discussed with him situations in Yemen and efforts of realizing peace.

President Hadi expressed thanks for efforts of the United States in supporting Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy in different situations and conditions, which embodies cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries, mainly in military field and fighting terrorism.

" Yemen suffers repercussions of plots of forces of evil and extremism in their two faces; Iranian Houthi Militia and terrorism, which we work along with the international community to beat them and establish admirable security and peace," said President.

The US official, along with the US Charge d' Affairs in YemenKaren Sasahara, expressed pleasure for the meeting, which comes in the framework of boosting cooperation and support to Yemeni people and leadership under President Hadi.

They confirmed US support to Yemen's unity and its aspirations of realizing peace and stability in the framework of the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, sponsored by the United States and the International Community.
